Hi, I’m Kayla! I grew up in Oregon, where my love for community and connection started with my very first job as a swim instructor.
Now I’m a student at the University of Oregon, studying Public Relations, Business and Sports Business. I’m passionate about the way thoughtful communication can bring people together and make a real difference. Whether I’m writing, planning digital campaigns, managing social media, or diving into market research, I love blending creativity and strategy to solve problems and tell meaningful stories.
Community and sustainability are really important to me. I’ve volunteered over 200 hours with organizations like the Oregon Humane Society and the Oregon Food Bank because I believe businesses—and individuals—have the power to create positive change.
When I’m not working or studying, you’ll usually find me hiking, swimming, or exploring Oregon’s incredible landscapes with my camera in hand. Those moments in nature always remind me why building stronger, more sustainable communities matters so much.
